<span style="color: #222222;">Sikkim is all set to operate its first airport ever. Prime Minister, Narendra Modi has reached Gangtok to inaugurate the Pakyong airport tomorrow. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">He was welcomed by Sikkim Governor Ganga Prasad , Chief Minister  Pawan Chamling, Union Minister of State,  DONER,  Dr Jitendra Singh, Union Minister for Civil Aviation Suresh Prabhu and other dignitaries this evening. </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The Pakyong airport about 30 kilometers from the state capital Gangtok is going to be 100th operational airport in the country. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Besides bringing Sikkim on the country's aviation map, this green field airport will also facilitate regional connectivity through the government's Udan scheme. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The first commercial flight from Pakyong airport is scheduled to be operated on 4th of next month. </span><br />
