The first ever Persons of Indian Origin Parliamentarian conference will take place tomorrow in New Delhi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the one day conference. <br/><br/>124 sitting MPs and 17 mayors of Indian descent will be participating in the conference. The countries from which the MPs participating include the United Kingdom, Canada, New Zealand, South Africa and Sri Lanka. <br/><br/>From the US, two mayors will take part. There will be two thematic plenary sessions during the conference. Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu and Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan will address the valedictory session. <br/><br/>External Affairs Ministry said, the conference will give a chance to upgrade India's relations with the participating nations and also improve help people to people contacts.
