PM Modi to have talks with his British counterpart David Cameron today

Prime Minister Narendra Modi who begins his three-day visit by emphasising more stronger ties with UK and expanded economic cooperation and investment between the two countries will address two significant meetings besides talks with British PM in London today. In his first meeting, he will meet his British counterpart David Cameron at Chequers, which is also the country residence of Mr Cameron. <br/><br/>During joint press conference Thursday, Mr Modi highlighted economic and financial plans with UK including to utilise London as a financial base for fund raising. Taking his efforts forward and making pitch for India's economic plan, He will address a round table of CEO's forum at Lancaster House, the very next to 10 Downing Street . <br/><br/>The most excited event of today's programme when he will address a huge gathering of Indian Diaspora at this evening (British time 1645) at Wembley Stadium. UK is a home of more than 10 lakh people-strong Indian Diaspora who have contributed greatly to society in different walks of life. During the day, after the CEO's meeting, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will also attend lunch being hosted by Queen Elizabeth II at Buckingham Palace.
