PM Modi to dedicate two important national highways in Varanasi

<span style="color: #222222;">Prime Minister Narendra Modi will dedicate two important national highways in Varanasi on Monday. The total length of the highways is 34 kilometres and is constructed at a cost of over 1500 crore rupees. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The projects will reduce travel time, fuel usage and pollution in the area. The Ring Road will provide easier and more convenient access to Sarnath, an important site for Buddhist pilgrimage. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The Prime Minister will also dedicate an inland waterways terminal on river Ganga in Varanasi to the nation. This is the first of the four multimodal terminals being constructed on River Ganga as part of the World Bank-aided Jal Marg Vikas project of the Inland Waterways Authority of India. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">In a tweet, Mr Modi said, he is looking forward to being in Kashi to inaugurate development projects that will have a transformative impact on the city and the rest of Uttar Pradesh, especially Poorvanchal. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">He said, the infrastructure project will enhance 'Ease of Living' for the people of Varanasi. The Prime Minister said, Kashi has blessed him with unparalleled affection and he is doing everything possible to transform the ancient city and strengthen it with the modern infrastructure it deserves.</span><br />''
