Prime Minister Narendra Modi will dedicate the Dhola- Sadia bridge in Assam to the nation on 26th of this month. Assam PWD Minister Parimal Sukla Baidya said that the length of the bridge is 9.16 kilometres and this will be longest bridge of the country. <br/><br/>He said that the 1200 crore rupees bridge will give a boost to the connectivity for the people of Assam and Arunachal Pradesh. <br/><br/>Recently Chief Minister Sarbanand Sonowal took stock of the preparation of the inauguration program. AIRcorrespondent reports that the bridge would not only ease hardship of people of Sadia but also fulfill a vital requirement from defence perspective.
