Prime Minister Narendra Modi will confer the Prime Minister's Awards for Excellence in Public Administration on Rashtriya Ekta Diwas, 31st October at the Statue of Unity in Gujarat. For the year 2020, the scheme for Prime Minister's Awards has been comprehensively restructured to recognize the contribution of civil servants in strengthening of service delivery and redressal of public grievances. <br />''<br />''The Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions said, the scope of the award has been expanded to identify areas of overall outcome-oriented performance in the districts across various sectors.<br />''&nbsp;<br />''The contribution of District Collectors will be recognized for implementation of Inclusive Credit Flow to the Priority Sector and promoting people's movements through Swachh Bharat Mission in the district. The Ministry said, the awards also seek to recognize the efforts of district level officials in the Namami Gange Programme.<br />''&nbsp;<br />''<span style="color: #222222;">The PM's Awards portal was launched by Minister of State in PMO, Dr. Jitendra Singh on 17th July this year. Almost 702 districts have registered and participated in the Prime Minister's Awards for Excellence in Public Administration 2020. <br />''<br />''Out of this, 678 districts have chosen District Performance Indicators Programme, while 646 applications have been received under Innovations Category. Under Namami Gange, 48 districts and under Aspirational District programme 81 districts have applied.</span><br />
