In Tripura, with assembly poll in this Left-ruled state is just three days away, the high-pitch campaigning is being witnessed with dozens of senior leaders of major political parties joining the campaign bagging votes for their parties. '<br/><br/>On Thursday, BJP senior leader and Prime Minister Narendra Modi is visiting the state. Also, senior Congress leader and former Chief Ministers of Uttarakhand and Maharashtra Harish Rawat and Prithviraj Chavan are campaigning at various places in the state. <br/><br/>Also, CPIM Polit bureau member Brinda Karat and Chief Minister Manik Sarkar are campaigning across the state to woo the voters.<br/><br/>AIR correspondent reports, on Thursday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be addressing rallies in Santirbazar of South Tripura and Agartala of West Tripura districts. <br/><br/>On Wednesday, BJP's state election in charge and Assam's Finance Minister Himanta Biswa Sarmah addressed rallies in Bagpassa and Khowai constituencies. <br/><br/>In these rallies he said though the Left Front government has been ruling the state for the last 25 years but there is no upliftment in standard of living of the common people of the state. <br/><br/>On the other side, addressing rally in Kailashahar, CPIM leader Brinda Karat alleged that the current budget presented by the central government has not protected the interest of working class, farmers and poor people. <br/><br/>She further said that the rich section people of the country have been benefited by this budget. <br/><br/>While talking to media in Agartala today, senior Congress leader and former Chief Minister of Maharashtra Prithviraj Chavan said there is no development in the state and said that the change is needed in Tripura and Congress is the only alternative to the Left Front.<br/><br/>Prime Minister Narendra Modi will also visit Arunachal Pradesh on Wednesday. Mr Modi will inaugurate the Dorjee Khandu state convention centre at a function in Itanagar. <br/><br/>The Prime Minister will also dedicate the state civil secretariat building to the nation, and lay the foundation stone of the academic block of the Tomo Riba institute of health and medical science. <br/>
