Before Lal Bahadur Shastri, then Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru had visited AMU four times. He visited the AMU campus first time in 1948 and lastly in 1963.  The preparations are in full swing and People are very much enthused and happy to see the Prime Minister at the campus.<br />''<br />'' AMU Vice Chancellor Tariq Mansoor said the AMU community is thankful to the Sri Modi ji for accepting the invitation to participate in the celebrations marking 100 years of the university. According to University officials Prime Minister Sri Modi will release a special postal stamp to mark the occasion. Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank will also join the event via videoconferencing.<br />
