Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be attending the two-week climate change conference in Paris next month. Sources in the Environment Ministry said, it is expected that a global agreement would be reached this year to fight the adverse impact of climate change. India will also convey the world community that developed countries should consider more cut in carbon emissions. <br/><br/>New Delhi will also put emphasis on use of renewable energy and promoting organic farming to fight the impacts of climate change. The last round of formal negotiations before Paris ended in Bonn last week. Countries are trying to forge an agreement that will bring down greenhouse gas emissions which are the reason for global warming.
