PM Modi to arrive in South Africa tonight

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to arrive Air Force Base, Waterkloof, Pretoria late night on Thursday.<br/><br/>In Second leg of his four nation tour, Mr Modi 's meeting is scheduled with top South African leaders on Friday.<br/><br/>Various agreements and MoU's are likely to be signed. After the welcome ceremony, Mr Modi will meet African President Jacob Zuma for bilateral talks on Friday following signing of agreements after which both leader will brief joint press conference.<br/><br/>In the evening Prime Minister will meet Deputy President of South Africa H.E. Cyril Ramaphosa.<br/><br/>Mr Modi and Mr Zuma are scheduled to address business leaders of the both countries. Mr. Modi will Also visit Nalson Mandela Foundation in Johannesburg.<br/><br/>At around 10:30 Indian time Prime Minister is scheduled to address a grand gathering of Indian diaspora at Ticketpro Dome in Johannesburg.<br/><br/>After the address Prime Minister will leave for Durban and Pietermaritzburg, places related to Mahatma Mahatma Gandhi.<br/><br/>AIR correspondent reports from Pretoria, south Africa that the visit is significant for economic ties, Technology transfer, enhanced international co-operation and to connect Indian diaspora in Indian development.<br/><br/>AIR correspondent reports, during the Prime Minister Narendra Modi visit to South Africa various agreements including civil aviation, technology sharing of coal gasification, deep mining and defence production are likely to be signed.
