Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address a Panchayati Raj Sammelan on the occasion of the National Panchayati Raj Day this afternoon at Jamshedpur in Jharkhand. Union Minister Chaudhari Briendra Singh and State Chief Minister Raghuwar Das will also be present. Around 3,000 Panchayat Representatives from all over the country are to participate in this programme. Mr Modi's address will be beamed live to all the Gram Sabhas of the country through Radio and Doordarshan. <br/><br/>This programme will be the culmination of the 'Gram Uday Se Bharat Uday Abhiyan' campaign, started from 14th April on the occasion of 125th birth anniversary of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar at his birthplace at Mhow, Madhya Pradesh.
