PM Modi to address National Summit on Agro and Food Processing on 16th Dec

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the farmers during the valedictory session of the National Summit on Agro and Food Processing on 16th of this month at 11 AM in Anand, Gujarat through video conferencing. The focus will be laid on natural farming during the summit. The farmers will be provided all the information related to benefits of adopting natural farming methods.<br />'' <br />'' The Government of Gujarat is organizing the National Summit on Agro and Food Processing focussing on natural farming. The three-day summit is being organized from 14th to 16th of this month. It is being attended by over five thousand farmers who will be present during the Summit.<br />'' <br />'' The government has initiated several measures to transform agriculture and increase farmers' income. It is committed towards ensuring an increase in productivity so that farmers can maximize their agri-potential. Efforts are underway to promote and support initiatives leading to sustainability of the system, cost reduction, market access, and better value realization to farmers.<br />'' <br />'' Zero Budget Natural Farming minimizes the dependence of farmers on purchased inputs and reduces the cost of agriculture by relying on traditional field-based technologies which lead to improved soil health. <br />''

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the valedictory session of the National Summit on Agro and Food Processing on Thursday. This summit is being organized as part of the Pre-event Vibrant Gujarat Summit to be held in Anand, Gujarat from tomorrow. This conference will be attended by five thousand farmers who will be present at the Summit. Apart from this 80 central institutes of the Indian Council of Agricultural Research and Krishi Vigyan Kendras will also be connecting farmers to witness the event live to know and learn about the practice and benefits of Natural Farming. Agriculture Ministry said, the Government has initiated several measures to transform agriculture in order to increase farmers' income during the last six years. Efforts are underway to promote and support initiatives leading to sustainability of the system, cost reduction, market access, and better realization to farmers.<br />''
