Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch a new crop insurance scheme at a farmers' convention in Sherpur village of Madhya Pradesh. Tight security and other arrangements have been made to control huge gathering at the venue. This convention will be the first in a series to be held across the country to apprise the farming community of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi's idea of comprehensive growth. <br/><br/>The Prime Minister will present a trophy of Krishi Karman Award to chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan.At the programme, the Prime Minister will be conferred Kisan Mitra and Kisan Hiteshi Samman on behalf of Madhya Pradesh government for his historic decisions in the interest of farmers community. <br/><br/>Soil health cards will be and benefits of crop insurance scheme for Kharif will also be distributed to farmers. Mr Modi will address the farmer's convention after formally unveil the Prime Minister Crop Insurance Scheme.
