Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address a function in New Delhi today, to mark the second anniversary of citizen engagement portal MyGov(dot)in. <br/><br/>The Prime Minister has often taken ideas for his programme 'Mann Ki Baat' from this portal. The event will see participation from various stakeholders including Cabinet Ministers, senior officers from Ministries and Departments, and citizens who have participated in the MyGov initiatives among others. AIR correspondent reports that, Mr Modi is also likely to launch a mobile app for the Prime Minister's Office on the occasion. <br/><br/>Union Communications and IT Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad today inaugurated town hall in New Delhi to mark the two year of citizen engagement portal MyGov.in. Speaking on the occasion, Mr Prasad said My Gov has 35.2 lakh registered members. The minister said achievements of ordinary people of the country must be given positive space in the My Gov platform.<br/><br/>The portal was launched by the Prime Minister in July 2014 to provide opportunity to the people to participate in multiple theme based discussions and share their thoughts.
