Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be addressing the 51st Annual Conference of Directors General of Police tomorrow. The 3-day National Conference of DsGP and IsGP of various states is underway at the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Police Academy in Hyderabad.<br/><br/>The Prime Minister has reached the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Hyderabad this evening by a special aircraft from Chandigarh to take part in the deliberations tomorrow. With cross boarder terrorism and funding terror high on agenda, the three day conference took off this afternoon.<br/><br/>Inaugurating the conference formally, Home Minister Rajnath Singh said the security situation in the country especially in Jammu and Kashmir, North East and left wing extremism affected areas has improved during the past one year. He said close coordination between central and state security forces is helping in improving the security situation in the country.<br/><br/>He further said healthy competition between various security agencies is yielding good results. Ministers of State for Home, Kiren Rijiju and Gangaram Ahir and Security Council Advisor Ajay Doval are also attending.<br/><br/>Top officials of various central intelligence security agencies, DsGP and IsGPs of states and Union Territories have attended the conference. The Home Minister also presented Police Medals to officials of various security agencies.
