Prime Minister Narendra Modi today thanked French President Francois Hollande for his visit to India. He said, Mr Hollande's presence during the Republic Day celebrations is an honor for India. In a tweet before the departure of Mr Hollande, Mr Modi said, the friendship of India with France is exceptional. The Prime Minister expressed confidence that the visit will help deepen the relationship further.<br/><br/>French President Francois Hollande who was on a three day state visit to India left Delhi this evening. Mr Hollande was given farewell at the Air Force Station. Environment Minister Prakash Javadekar who was the Minister in Waiting for Mr Hollande was present at the airbase. Mr Hollande was invited by Prime Minister Narendra Modi as the chief guest at India's 67th Republic Day parade.
