PM Modi says our freedom fighters would have felt proud of the way Govt tackled COVID pandemic

<span style="color: black;">Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said the Chauri Chaura incident was not a single incident of setting fire to a Police Station, but it was the collective manifestation of the angst against the British rule.</span><br />'' <span style="color: black;"><br />'' Inaugurating the Chauri Chaura centenary celebrations in Gorakhpur in Uttar Pradesh, Mr Modi said the nation is entering into 75 years of freedom and this centenary is an occasion to pay homage to India's great freedom fighters.</span><br />'' <span style="color: black;"><br />'' The Prime Minister also released a postal stamp dedicated to the Chauri Chaura Centenary. The day marks 100 years of the historic Chauri Chaura incident in India's freedom struggle.</span><br />'' <span style="color: black;"><br />'' The Prime Minister said the centenary celebration is a commendable initiative by the Uttar Pradesh Government to register the Chauri Chaura incident in the history of our country. The Prime Minister said our freedom fighters would have been so proud at the efforts made by us in the times of the COVID pandemic.</span><br />'' <span style="color: black;"><br />'' The Prime Minister also said that Rs 40,000 crore have been allocated to the infrastructure fund for the rural sector in the Budget.
