PM Modi says, in last eight years govt left no stone unturned in empowering women

In a tweet today, Mr Modi said Women-led development has been the top priority of Government from the very beginning. He said, as a result of women-led development, the lives of crores of our mothers, sisters and daughters have become easier and they are contributing immensely in the progress of the country.<br />''<br />''Schemes like Mudra Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Surakshit Matritva Abhiyan, Tap Water, Gas Connections and Toilets in home, increased paid maternity leave, over 2.73 crore accounts opened under Sukanya Samriddhi Scheme, ending the social malpractice of the instant triple talaq and permanent commission for women in armed forces are some of the pathbreaking initiatives taken by thr Narendra Modi led NDA Government.  <br />''<br />''In another tweet, Mr Modi said, powered by the principle of 'Reform, Perform and Transform', there have been many gains in 'Ease of Doing Business.'
