Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that if India becomes self reliant in the area of security by having expertise and technology to manufacture required equipments that means one sixth of the population of the world becomes secured. And that in itself is also a force to protect the world. Addressing the large gathering at Wembley Stadium in London, Friday night, Mr. Modi said we want to do good for ourselves but our well-being should be the well-being of others too. He said we are exploring avenues to bring the technology and expertise to manufacture submarine, helicopters, tanks and other firearms in the country itself. He shared with the Indian Diaspora, present there to extend a warm welcome to him, that many big players in the field of manufacturing of arms and ammunition are knocking at the doors of India. <br/><br/>AIR correspondent covering the event at London reports that talking about foreign direct investment (FDI) in India, Mr. Modi said it has increased 40 per cent this year as compared to last year. This itself is a proof that world's belief towards India has increased in the recent past. This belief is a driving force for India with which we want to progress.<br/><br/>He said that this for the first time that India's Railway Rupees Bond has been introduced in the London Stock Exchange. He said India has opened its doors for hundred percent foreign direct investment in Railways. Mr. Modi said that when he talks about FDI it only means Foreign Direct Investment but its important aspect is Fast Develop India. We want to progress while maintaining a balance between both.<br/><br/>Accompanied by his British counterpart David Cameron who was present at the iconic Wembley Stadium with his family, Mr. Modi thanked him for extending him such a warm welcome in London during his three-day visit ending today.<br/><br/>From here Mr. Modi will proceed to Turkey for G-20 Summit.<br/><br/>Earlier on Saturday, Mr. Modi met the Queen Elizabeth-II on the dinner hosted by her for the Indian Prime Minister and presented her with old photographs when she visited india on various occasions. In addition, he also presented to Her Majesty some award-winning Darjeeling tea from Makaibari Tea Estate in West Bengal, fine organic honey from Jammu and Kashmir, and Tanchoi stoles that are a specialty of Varanasi.
