Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said that his visit to United Arab Emirates, UAE will boost ties and will enhance economic as well as trade relations. In a Facebook post today on his upcoming visit to the gulf country, Mr Modi said, UAE is a valued partner and the ties between the two countries indicate the vibrant relations. <br/><br/>He said, India is UAE's 2nd largest trading partner and UAE is India's 3rd largest trade partner. Mr Modi said, there are over 2.5 million Indians who have made UAE their home and they have contributed immensely to the progress of UAE and also given back to India at every occasion. <br/><br/>The Prime Minister said, economic strides taken by UAE are extremely admirable and UAE is a global economic success story that has attracted people from all over the world. He said, UAE has also emerged as an important logistics hub. Mr Modi said, UAE and India's strong partnership goes back several years and both are multicultural societies that respect and celebrate plurality and diversity. <br/><br/>Mr Modi said, during his visit, he will seek to enhance cooperation in energy, trade and will talk to investors on why India is an attractive destination to invest. The Prime Minister expressed confidence that the visit will boost people-to-people ties between the two nations. <br/><br/>The Prime Minister said, he is specially looking forward to meeting the large community of Indian workers based in UAE. He said, no words will be enough to appreciate their hardwork and sweat over the last many years. Mr Modi said, he will hold extensive talks with Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, whose enlightened vision and farsightedness has taken UAE to new heights of development. <br/><br/>The Prime Minister will also meet Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. The Prime Minister said, he will visit the zero carbon city, Masdar City in UAE, which is an effort towards creating a cleaner and greener tomorrow. The Prime Minister will be on a two day visit to UAE beginning 16th of this month. It will be the first Prime Ministerial visit in 34 years.
