PM Modi says his govt's policy & programmes are poor-centric

<span style="color: #222222;">Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said that his government's policy and programmes are poor-centric. Speaking about farmer welfare initiative taken by his government, Mr. Modi said, in last few months, two thousand crore rupees were deposited in millions of farmers accounts under Pradhan Mantri Kisan Sanman Nidhi Yojana in Maharashtra alone. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">He was addressing a public in Sakoli block of the district in East Vidarbha region of the state. Mr. Modi said, 462 Eklawya Schools are being opened throughout the country for Tribal Development.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Talking about regional issues, Mr. Modi said that the long pending Irrigation and water conservation works in Bhandara Gondia region of Maharashtra get momentum under newly launched  Jal Jeevan Mission. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">He said, the long pending works of Gosikhurd Dam are being completed now. Mr. Modi added that in the coming years, 3.5 lakh crore rupees will be used for water conservation and building resources for water conservation under Ministry of Jal Shakti. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Mentioning the progress of Maharashtra Government under leadership of Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, the Prime Minister said, Maharashtra is leading the development front under his leadership and due to various schemes by the Government.</span><br />
