Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said he is pained over the suicide of Hyderabad University Research scholar Rohith Vemula. Addressing a convocation function of Baba Saheb Ambedkar University in Lucknow Friday, Mr Modi said whatever may have been the reason behind the suicide, a mother has lost her beloved son. The Prime Minister said a young son of the country was compelled to commit suicide, adding that he can feel the pain what Vemula's family must have gone through. <br/><br/>In another function in Lucknow, the Prime Minister said that his government's target is to bring a positive change in the lives of the poor, deprived and marginalised people of the society. Addressing a gathering of 'Rickshaw Sangathan', he said that giving livelihood to youths is his government's top priority.
