Prime Minister Narendra Modi today said every region of India is important for the NDA government. Addressing a public meeting at Khanapara in Guwahati, Mr Modi said the launching and laying foundation for projects worth 3500 crore rupees shows the commitment and approach of his government which commands pubic support and is run by public participation.<br/><br/>The Prime Minister said NDA government has taken several steps to uplift the OBCs. He said ceiling of OBC creamy layer will be increased from 6 lakh to 8 lakh. It will allow more students to be get the advantage of OBC reservation for admission in educational institutions.<br/><br/>He reiterated his commitment to double the income of farmers by 2022. Mr Modi said government wants to ensure value addition of agri-products through Sampada Yojana. He expressed gratitude that people made Swachhata a mass movement. He said media too played a key role in furthering the message of cleanliness.
