PM Modi returns home after successful Japan visit

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has returned home after a successful visit to Japan, during his three-day visit, India signed a landmark civil nuclear deal and nine other agreements with Japan. Deal was signed in various areas including outer space, which would enable cooperation in satellite navigation, planetary exploration and space industry promotion, joint missions and studies. Mr Modi also attended an India-Japan Business Leaders' Forum and addressed a luncheon meeting organised by the Confederation of Indian Industry and Keidanren or the Japanese Business Federation.<br/><br/>The Prime Minister along with his Japanese counterpart took a ride in Shinkansen high-speed rail from Tokyo to Kobe and visited Kawasaki Heavy Industries plant where the high speed rail coaches are built. Both the leaders also witnessed Memorandum of Cooperation between the Gujarat Government and Hyogo Prefecture. Mr Modi interacted with the Indian community both in Tokyo and Kobe. The Prime Minister had reached Japan on Thursday to attend the annual India-Japan summit with his Japanese counterpart Shinzo Abe. The Summit was held in Tokyo on Friday.
