The Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached Kochi this evening on his maiden visit to Kerala as Prime Minister. Mr. Modi was accorded a warm welcome by Governor Mr. P. Sadasivam, Chief Minister Oommen Chandy, his cabinet colleagues, City Mayor and other prominent personalities. <br/><br/>Prime Minister will address a public meeting this evening in Thrissur. <br/>Mr. Modi will tomorrow address a combined commanders' conference in Kochi . He will also unveil former Chief Minister R. Sanker's statue at Kollam and pay floral tributes to Sree Narayana Guru Mahasamadhi at Sivagiri, Varkala before returning to Delhi.
