PM Modi praises rapid construction of new airport terminals in Gwalior and Jabalpur

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, while inaugurating the new airport terminals in Gwalior and Jabalpur along with 15 airport terminals in the country, praised the rapid construction of these airports, and said that Vijaya Raje Airport of Gwalior has been completed in just 16 months.<br />'' <br />''In the inauguration program of Gwalior Airport, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav announced to increase in the wages of unskilled, semi-skilled and agricultural labourers. He said that on the basis of disability and death, labourers and their families will now be given financial help of four lakh rupees, instead of one lakh rupees.<br />'' <br />''On this occasion, the statue of Rajmata Vijayaraje Scindia was also unveiled. Various leaders including Assembly Speaker Narendra Singh Tomar and Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia were present in the program.<br />'' <br />''Gwalior Airport has various facilities like four aero bridges, three elevators, toilets for the Divyanga Jan, and baby care homes.  Constructed at the cost of 500 crore rupees, the airport has a capacity of 1500 passengers and can park 700 cars. <br />'' <br />''<span style="color: #222222;">An amount of 425 crore rupees has been spent on the expansion of Jabalpur Airport.  There are three aero-bridges and parking facilities for 300 cars.</span><br />
