Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday stressed on the need to work towards the development of weaker districts of the country. <br />''<br />''Mr Modi said this after inaugurating the two-day National Legislators Conference at the Central Hall of Parliament. <br />''<br />''He said, the government has identified 115 districts which are weaker on various parameters of development. <br />''<br />''He said, it is now essential to identify the areas where these districts need improvement and then address the shortcomings so that they can come at par with best performing districts.<br />''<br />''Mr Modi said, working on these aspirational districts will improve India's standing in the Human Development Index.
