Prime Minister Narendra Modi led the nation to pay tributes to the martyrs of Kargil war. On the 16the Kargil Victory Day, Mr Modi said the day reminds valor of our military and the supreme sacrifice.<br/><br/>Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar and armed forces chiefs paid tribute at the India Gate Amar Jawan jyoti to the martyrs who gallantly laid down their life for the nation in the 1999 Kargil conflict with Pakistan. Mr Parrikar along with Army Chief General Dalbir Singh Suhag Air Chief Marshal Arup Raha and deputy Chief of the Naval Staff laid a wreath at the memorial.
