Prime Minister Narendra Modi today paid homage to freedom fighter Birsa Munda on his birth anniversary. In a tweet, Mr Modi recalled his courage and efforts towards empowerment of tribal communities. <br/><br/>He also wished the people of Jharkhand on the occasion of state foundation day. The state came to existence after bifurcation from Bihar on this day in 2000. He wished that the state will move forward in the progress.
