PM Modi officially joins wax statues at Madame Tussauds museum

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has officially joined the wax statues at Madame Tussauds museum. The Prime Minister Narendra Modi got a glimpse of his wax statue in New Delhi today. The statue will be unveiled at Madame Tussauds in London on 28th of this month.<br/><br/> Mr. Modi's statue will also be displayed in Singapore, Hong Kong and Bangkok. Mr. Modi was shown the statue as he will not be able to attend its unveil. Mr. Modi's statue is seen dressed in his signature kurta and jacket in a namaste pose. The Prime Minister has been involved in the creation of his figure and gave Madame Tussauds' artists a sitting in New Delhi earlier this year.<br/><br/>Mr. Modi's wax statue has joined other world leaders like Mahatma Gandhi, Nelson Mandela, US President Barack Obama, Winston Churchill, British PM David Cameron, German Chancellor Angela Merkel and French President Francoise Hollande.<br/><br/>In a press release by Madame Tussauds, the Prime Minister has been quoted as saying that as far as art is concerned, the Madame Tussauds team is exceptional at what they do. He said, what Lord Brahma does normally is what the artists there are doing. Mr Modi said, today he had an opportunity as the prime servant of his people to meet his wax figure.
