Prime Minister Narendra Modi presented "Krishi Karman Commendation Award 2014-15" to Arunachal Pradesh along with cash award of Rs. one lakh in New Delhi yesterday.<br/><br/>The award was received by Agriculture Commissioner Hage Khoda in the inaugural function of "Krishi Unnati Mela", held at Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI), New Delhi. <br/><br/>Arunachal Pradesh was selected for the award for the consecutive fourth year in total food grain production under category-III states. Arunachal Pradesh has produced 4.09 lakh MT of food grains in 2014-15 as compared to 3.62 lakh MT during 2011-12.
