Prime Minister Narendra Modi today met jawans of the Indo-Tibetan Border Police, Indian Army and Dogra Scouts in Kinnaur district of Himachal Pradesh on the occasion of Diwali. Mr Modi also made unscheduled stop at Chango village to wish people on Diwali. Mr Modi said, he was deeply touched by the impromptu reception and their joy.<br/><br/>Last year, the Prime Minister had celebrated Diwali with Jawans at Khasa and Barki war memorial near Amritsar and at Air Force base at Halwara in Punjab. In 2014, he had celebrated Diwali with jawans in Siachen.
