Ahead of G20 summit in Hangzhou Prime Minister Narendra Modi met his Australian counterpart Malcolm Turnbull. <br/><br/>Briefing media about the meeting, External Affairs Ministry Spokesperson Vikas Swarup said, Mr Modi sought Australian support in the areas of clean coal technology, clean water and Nano technology. <br/><br/>Mr Swarup said, Australia reiterated its support for India's inclusion in the Nuclear Suppliers Group. <br/>He said, the two leaders discussed cooperation in the areas of defence, security, sports, investment and counter terrorism. <br/><br/>He said, both leaders also welcomed the idea of direct partnership between the states of India and Australian provinces.
