Prime Minister Narendra Modi today held meeting in New Delhi today with Chief Minister of Gujarat Anandiben Patel to discuss drought situation in the State. The meeting is a part of Prime Minister's review of the drought situation in 11 States to mitigate the problem with a focus on immediate, medium and long term measures. He had already held separate meetings with the Chief Ministers of Telengana, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand and Rajasthan.
