Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday met visiting Belgium King Philippe in New Delhi. <br/><br/>Earlier, the King was accorded ceremonial reception at the forecourts of the Rashtrapati Bhawan in the morning. <br/><br/>External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj also met King Philippe. <br/><br/>MEA spokesperson Raveesh Kumar said said the King and Mrs Swaraj had a conversation on expanding warm and friendly bilateral relations. <br/><br/>In morning, the visiting dignitary laid wreath at the Samadhi of Mahatma Gandhi. <br/><br/>The King and Queen of Belgium had arrived on 5th of this month. The visit is aimed at strengthening the historical strong ties between the two countries. <br/><br/>Belgium was also among the first European countries to establish a diplomatic mission in India after Independence.<br/>'<br/>India is Belgium's second largest export destination and third largest trade partner outside EU.
