PM Modi led govt's vision, initiatives ensured progress of backward states: Amit Shah

<span style="color: #222222;">BJP President Amit Shah has said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi led government's vision and initiatives has ensured progress of backward states, including Chhattisgarh, where funds were made available for development. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Flagging of the "Atal Vikas Yatra" from Dongarhgarh town in Chhattisgarh today, the BJP president said, the state has made a giant leap in development during the BJP rule under the leadership of Chief Minister Raman Singh. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Mr Shah said, the country has become stronger after NDA government came to power at the centre. He said, Prime minister Modi showed the courage to carryout surgical strike to deal with cross border terrorism. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Chief Minister Raman Singh later embarked on the second phase of his Vikas yatra that will cover nearly 6000 kilometres in the state to highlight the achievements of his government during the last 15 years. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The yatra has been renamed "Atal Vikas Yatra" in the memory of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">During his day long visit to Chhattisgarh, the BJP President also launched a single number emergency service – 112 – and met beneficiaries of various government schemes at a programme held at Dongargarh in Rajnandgaon district.</span><br />''
