<span style="color: #222222;">Minister of State for Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions Dr Jitendra Singh has said that the government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi has taken a number of historic decisions to ensure good governance in all the departments.<br />''<br />''Addressing the Good Governance Day celebration organised by Department of Personnel and Training , DoPT, in New Delhi on Sunday, Dr Singh highlighted the various reforms and achievements by DoPT in the last eight years. <br />''<br />'' He said, reforms brought by DoPT seeks to ensure good governance, increase transparency, accountability and usage of technology with reduced human interface.  Dr Singh added that reforms like abolition of self attestation and interview for various governmental jobs are reflection of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision of 'Maximum Governance Minimum Government'.<br />''<br />''On this occasion, the Minister also launched a number of service-related digital initiatives by DoPT that will benefit the central government employees for their issues like transfer, deputation and others. With today's event, the week-long Good Governance Week also culminated. </span><br />
