India has also been successful in projecting itself on the global stage as a soft power. The International Day of Yoga is now celebrated globally on the 21st of June every year. The spread of Ayurveda has also gathered speed under the NDA government. All these positive changes have happened because Prime Minister Narendra Modi has led from the front. In a polarised world, India has maintained its independence.
