Prime Minister Narendra Modi is leaving for Kuala Lampur tonight on a four day visit of Malaysia and Singapore. On his first leg of visit, Mr. Modi will reach Kuala Lampur to participate in East Asia and the India- ASEAN Summits. In Singapore, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will have series of engagements including meeting with President and Prime Minister of Singapore.<br/> <br/>Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to discuss matters of international concern including terrorism and the Middle East situation among others. Mr. Modi said the ASEAN- India and East Asia Summits are being held in Malaysia at a critical juncture and together the nations will discuss the pressing security issues. The PM will address ASEAN Business and Investment Summit and will also meet Prime Ministers of China, Japan and New Zealand. <br/><br/>During his second leg of visit to Singapore the Prime Minister Narendra Modi will meet President, Prime Minister and senior minister of that country. Mr. Modi will address India- Singapore Economic Convention. He will pay homage at Indian National Army Memorial Marker. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will interact with Indian diaspora during the visit. It is hoped that this visit will boost trade and economic relations of India with ASEAN countries.
