PM Modi lauds Himachal Pradesh for achieving 100% target in administering 1st dose of COVID vaccine to its eligible population

<span style="color: #333333;">Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said India is administering 1.25 crore covid vaccine daily which is higher than the population of several countries.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #333333;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #333333;">The Prime Minister was virtually addressing the frontline COVID warriors and people of Himachal Pradesh for achieving the 100 percent target in administering the first dose of COVID vaccine to its eligible population, first by any state in the country today.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #333333;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #333333;">He said this success of Himachal has instilled confidence in the country towards self-reliant India.<br />'' <br />'' The Prime Minister stated that Himachal has emerged as a champion in the fight against this biggest epidemic of hundred years in spite of the difficult geographical conditions.<br />'' <br />'' While interacting with front line covid warriors and beneficiaries of the covid vaccination program through video conferencing one by one, Prime Minister appreciated the efforts being taken by front line health workers to achieve this unique feat.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #333333;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #333333;">He said that this has become possible due to the tireless efforts of all the corona warriors including doctors, paramedical staff, ASHA workers, Anganwadi workers and teachers.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #333333;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #333333;">He further added that Himachal Pradesh has made vaccination successful through public participation and public dialogue despite logistic difficulties.<br />'' <br />'' The Prime Minister said that Himachal has achieved 100 percent first dose vaccination target by working as a team.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #333333;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #333333;">He stated that the remote tribal district, Lahaul-Spiti has also been a leader in vaccination.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #333333;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #333333;">He congratulated all the Corona Warriors including the state government for this success.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #333333;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #333333;">The PM said after Himachal, Sikkim and Dadra Nagar Haveli have also achieved the target of administering first dose of covid vaccine to all eligible people and the rest of the states are nearing to achieve it.<br />'' <br />'' Earlier, the Prime Minister interacted Dr. Rahul, posted in remote Dodra quar of Shimla district, Dayal Singh of Thunag in Mandi district, Nirma Devi of Kullu district, 84-year-old Nirmala Devi from Krishna Nagar in Hamirpur, Karmo Devi of Una and Nawang upasak resident of Lahaul-Spiti spoke about the vaccination campaign.<br />'' <br />''</span><br />''<span style="color: black;">On this occasion, Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur thanked the Prime Minister for continued supply of the vaccine to the state. He said that the target of the second dose would also be completed by November 30 in the state.</span><br />
