Prime Minister Narendra Modi hosted a tea party for the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) MPs at his residence in New Delhi this evening.

MPs were given ministerial presentations on Prime Minister's Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, Saansad Adarsh Gram Yojana and Jan Dhan Yojana.

It was the first interaction of the Prime Minister with the NDA MPs since the government took office.

It came at a time when Mr Modi is riding high on BJP's electoral success in Maharashtra and Haryana assembly elections.
