Ahead of G20 summit in Hangzhou Prime Minister Narendra Modi met his Australian counterpart Malcolm Turnbull. Briefing media about the meeting, External Affairs Ministry Spokesperson Vikas Swarup said, Mr Modi sought Australian support in the areas of clean coal technology, clean water and Nano technology. <br/><br/>Mr Swarup said, Australia reiterated its support for India's inclusion in the Nuclear Suppliers Group. He said, the two leaders discussed cooperation in the areas of defence, security, sports, investment and counter terrorism. He said, both leaders also welcomed the idea of direct partnership between the states of India and Australian provinces. <br/><br/>
