After attending United Nations General Assembly and G-4 Summit in New York, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to San Jose of USA today. He will arrive at San Jose, popularly known as Silicon Valley at about 01.00 AM Indian Standard Time. <br/><br/>This is the first time Indian Prime Minister is visiting California after 30 years. <br/><br/>Prime Minister's visit to the land of hundreds of start-ups and global technology companies is aimed at giving a major boost to the Digital India movement.<br/><br/>AIR correspondent reports, if the Prime Minister Narendra Modi's last year's visit to the US was about Make in India, this visit is about Digital India. <br/><br/>A dinner with over 200 top CEO's of Silicon Valley including Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella, Google's Sunder Picchhai, CEO of Cisco, Shantanu Narayen, and visits to the campuses of iconic IT firms like Facebook and Google will be the high points of Prime Minister's two day visit to the San Jose. <br/><br/>Mr. Modi will also visit the factory floor of Tesla Motors to have a look at some of their path-breaking inventions, particularly in the renewable energy sector. He will speak at a 'India-US Start-up Konnect.<br/><br/>At this event, a group of Indian start-ups will showcase their innovations and forge partnerships with the vibrant American start-up industry.<br/><br/> Prime Minister will also address a community reception at the SAP Centre in San Jose. President of TiE, an association of Indian entrepreneurs Mr. Venkatesh Shukla said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to San Jose is significant as Silicon Valley is the epi-centre of innovation.
