Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis today said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has opened up a new direction for the youths in the country with launching of campaigns like Skill India, Digital India, Make in India, and Startup India. Mr. Fadnavis was speaking after inaugurating a Management College in Chiplun Taluka in Ratnagiri today. <br/><br/>Mr. Fadnavis said that Modi Government's initiatives are for the better future of the Indian youths and taking cue from the Centre, the Maharashtra Government is also committed to create growth oriented prospects for the youths in state. He also said that in the year 2020 India would be the youngest country in the world, with 64 per cent of its population in the working age group. <br/><br/>He emphasized a need to transform the youth power of the country into a skilled human resource which would help India to be a strongest economy in the world. He informed that considering the importance of skill development among the youths, the State Government has recently started the 'Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Department.<br/><br/>Speaking on the occasion, State Education Minister Vinod Tawade said that the State Government is determined to reform the current education system in the state. He added that his ministry is also considering development of a master plan for skill development of students on the basis of work areas and its specific needs.

PM Modi has opened up new direction for youths, says Maharashtra CM
