Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed grief over the tragedy in Ludhiana due to a gas leak and announced ex-gratia for the deceased and injured. Mr. Modi announced an ex-gratia of two lakh rupees for the next of kin of each deceased. The injured will be given 50 thousand rupees. The amount will be given from the Prime Minister's National Relief Fund.<br />
