Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed his grief over the demise of revenue minister and the chief of ruling Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) ally Indigenous People's Front of Tripura (IPFT), Narendra Chandra Debbarma today. In his message, Mr. Modi said that Debbarma will be remembered as a hardworking grassroots leader by the coming generations. He added that Debbarma made a rich contribution to Tripura's progress. The Prime Minister also conveyed his condolences to Debbarma's family and the supporters. Narendra Chandra Debbarma breathed his last at a hospital in Agartala today. He was 84.
