Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed grief on the demise of former Singapore President S R Nathan. In a tweet, Mr Modi said, Singapore has lost a distinguished leader who was widely admired. He said, people in India join the people of Singapore in deeply mourning the passing away of former President Nathan. Mr Modi also offered condolences to his family.<br/>Nathan, who was the President of Singapore from 1999 to 2011, passed away yesterday at the age of 92.<br/><br/>
