Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said that providing employment to the youth has been the topmost priority of his government. In an interview to a News Magazine, he said, it is well-known that investments in infrastructure have a large multiplier impact on growth and employment. Hence, Government has constantly increased capital investment outlay. The Prime Minister said, Government is absolutely on the path of ensuring sustainable peace, stability and prosperity for the people of the region by improving their living standards, promoting economic growth and generating employment opportunities. He said, Centre has adopted a multi-pronged approach with focus on security, development, investment in infrastructure and human capital, and a complete re-engineering of government processes through reforms.<br />''<br />''Mr Modi said, BJP is going to be the natural choice of the people in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections and there is a consensus among the citizens that the country doesn't need a coalition government. He added that the BJP securing a hat-trick in 2024 is not a question of confidence as the people of the country have seen the lack of governance in the era of coalition governments. He said, the country lost 30 years due to instability resulting from coalition governments. The Prime Minister said, people have seen the lack of governance, the appeasement politics, corruption in the era of coalition governments.<br />''<br />''He said, BJP is a natural choice in 2024 because earlier, these coalition governments resulted in a loss of optimism and confidence among the people and gave a bad image to India in the world.<br />''<br />''Mr Modi said, today, there is no corner of the country where BJP does not have support. He said, from local bodies in Kerala to being the principal opposition in many states, the party is doing robust work among the people. The Prime Minister said, the party currently govern in 16 states and are the principal opposition in eight.<br />''<br />''<span style="color: #222222;">He dismissed the labels assigned to the BJP by its critics such as Hindi heartland party. Mr Modi said, election after election, the party has consistently disproven these labels. He added that from no presence in 2014, BJP is now in government in six Northeast states, including Christian-majority states like Nagaland and Meghalaya. The Prime Minister said, if we consider the journey from a modest beginning of two Lok Sabha seats in 1984 to 303 now, could the party have emerged as a significant force in national politics without the support and strength of the people from all parts of the country.</span><br />
