PM Modi dedicates Petrochemical complex of ONGC to the nation

Prime Minister Narendra Modi today dedicated the Petrochemical complex of ONGC to the nation at Dehej in Gujarat. The plant set up with 27,000 crore rupees investment will have world class facilities of Polymer production. Addressing the gathering, the Prime Minister said, the petrochemical sector is growing at a faster pace and has immense potential for employment generation. He said, the increasing use of Polymer product will substantially reduce the use of traditional products such as wood and help conserve natural resources. Mr. Modi stressed that no compromise can be done with the environment. He said, industrial development can be achieved with protection of environment. <br/><br/>Talking about demonetization, Mr Modi said, the recent number on India's GDP rate has cleared all the allegations against the move. He will shortly inaugurate the country's longest Bridge at River Narmada at Bharuch. He will also lay the foundation stone of Bharauch Bus Port. This is the longest cable bridge in the country with a length of 1344 mt connecting Mumbai Delhi National Highway-8. Earlier PM Narendra Modi addressed BJP workers at the Surat Airport.
