<span style="color: #222222;">Prime Minister Narendra Modi has congratulated Maldives on rejoining the Commonwealth. In a tweet, Mr Modi said, India warmly welcomes Maldives in the Commonwealth and look forward to the Maldives playing a larger role in the comity of nations and realising the full potential as well as aspirations of its people.<br />'' <br />'' Maldives had left the Commonwealth under the previous Yameen administration in October 2016.&nbsp; Prime Minister Narendra Modi has also expressed happiness on Uzbekistan joining as Partner Country in the Surajkund Mela. &nbsp;<br />'' <br />'' In a tweet, Mr Modi thanked President Shavkat Mirziyoyev for his leadership on such initiatives that make India-Uzbekistan relations even stronger.
